Casa do Largo is a one-bedroom flat in a 19th-century building that has been brought back to life without losing what was good about it: the old timber floor, the high ceilings, the sash window looking onto the square. We redid the kitchen and the bathroom, put in a proper bed and let the rest breathe. The corner café opens at seven. At night you hear the city in the distance — but you sleep well.
